Good Games.

Good Games is a resource for parents who are moving into new stages of their parenthood. Despite video games being one of the most popular forms of entertainment for those between the ages of 12 and 35, there is no definitive guide out there to help parents navigate this unfamiliar space.

Good Games is there to help parents give their children the best video game experience they can, with the video games they are already playing!

Insight into the project.

Good Games is a personal concept project. With this project I wanted to create a vivid and fun environment to reflect its subject without being childlike! To do this I used a range of purple colours and a "Gold Coin" yellow accent colour as a small nod to gaming greats.

This exploration into "Play" and its benefits was a great way to show off some motion skills, so I created a blank character to play with. A generic robot character that could lead the user through their learning of game genres and game titles. Throughout the app you will see it waving, jumping and mimicking action heroes.

This project is a combination of everything I love, branding, motion graphics and gaming!
